BAC Water

Bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) for reconstituting lyophilized research material.

About BAC Water
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, a preservative that suppresses bacterial growth. That allows a vial to be punctured more than once, unlike plain sterile water, which is single-use.
In the lab it is commonly used as a solvent for reconstituting lyophilized research peptides. If benzyl alcohol could interfere with your assay, use sterile water instead.
Supplied in a sealed vial. For laboratory research use only.
